- By taxi or car, it takes about 15 minutes. Take Horikawa Street south to Shichijo street, then go east to Honmachi street, a one way street that goes north. THE JUNEI HOTEL Kyoto will be on the left just after the stop sign.

- By taxi or car, it takes about 15 minutes. Go north until the first stoplight at Gojo street. Turn left and head west to Horikawa Street, and take a right to go north. Continue until Demizu Street. Take a right here and THE JUNEI HOTEL Imperial Palace West will be a couple buildings down on your left.

THE JUNEI HOTEL Imperial Palace West opened in 2017 and is in northern Kyoto City near the Imperial Palace. The rooms are on average bigger with carpeted floors and a small tatami section. There are TVs in all rooms and a place to plug in a music player to play your personal music over the in room speakers. The bath is a relaxing foam jet bath with a nice private garden view. There is no elevator in the hotel, but there are 2 rooms on the ground floor.
THE JUNEI HOTEL Kyoto opened in 2020 in the more south eastern section of Kyoto and is closer to the JR Kyoto Station as well as several other sight seeing locations. The rooms are all tatami with western beds, and the bath is made of hinoki-cypress. There are no TVs in the rooms, but projectors can be rented for free to watch shows on apps like YouTube or Disney+ (using your personal account, projects are reset upon return). There is also an elevator, a rooftop garden and a Japanese beef restaurant in THE JUNEI HOTEL Kyoto. - When staying at THE JUNEI HOTEL Imperial Palace West, can I have dinner at the Japanese beef restaurant Niku Kappo Futago in THE JUNEI HOTEL Kyoto? Can I charge the meal to my room?
