You will need to get on a bus that stops at Kyoto City bus stop Shichi-jo Keihan-mae.
Buses that stop here are 206 and 208, departing from D2. You will then walk five minutes north along Honmachi Street to reach the hotel.

It is about a 10 minute ride to the hotel.
What should I say to the taxi driver?
The closest unique landmark is "Mimi-zuka" so if you tell the taxi driver that, they should bring you within 20m of the hotel. You can also tell them it is “near the Kyoto National Museum, the third building north of the Honmachi-dori and Shomen-dori intersection” or “diagonally across from the Daibutsu-mae Post Office.”

Is there parking spaces? How much extra for parking?
There is no parking at the hotel, but there are several coin parking spaces near the hotel.
The price for the closest paid parking lot is as follows:
Day use: 8:00am – 8:00pm ¥200/40 min, max ¥800
Overnight: 8:00pm – 8:00am ¥100/60 min, max ¥300
Is there a shuttle bus from the airport?

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in starts at 3:00 PM.
Check-out is until 11:00 AM.

If I arrive before check-in time, can I leave my bags at the hotel?
If you arrive prior to check-in time, we are happy to hold your bags on your behalf.
Is early check-in or late check-out an option?
Early check-in and late check-out will incur additional charges, and we ask that you inquire in advance.
Depending on occupany we may not be able to honor same-day requests, so please consult the Front Desk in those cases.
Do I need to stop by the Front Desk upon check-out?
According to our hotel rules, we do require meeting with you upon check-out.

Do you have coin laundry service?
While there is not a laundry service within the hotel, we can direct you to nearby coin laundry services in the neighborhood. Please feel free to ask the Front Desk staff.
Is it alright to bring pets to the hotel? Are there any other restrictions on what I can bring to the hotel?
We ask that you refrain from bringing the following into the hotel:
・Pets or any other animals (with the exception of certified service animals)
・Psychoactive drugs, narcotics, and any other illegal substances
・Especially odorous substances
・Especially heavy parcels
・Fire-starting materials or especially flamable objects, explosives, gasolines, or any other dangerous materials
・Guns, blades, or other weapons
・Anything else determined hazardous to other guests' safety
May I park my vehicle at the hotel?
There is no parking lot for the hotel, so we ask that you use the nearby coin parking lots throughout the neighborhood.

Can you call a taxi for me (including jumbo taxis)?

Is there a curfew?
There is no curfew, and the entrance is open 24 hours a day, but as the hotel is in a residential area, we ask that you refrain from using loud voices and be quiet when coming and going at night.
Is there a convenience store nearby?
The nearest convenience store is a 4-5 minute walk away. Please ask the Front Desk staff for directions.
Can we borrow umbrellas?
You are welcome to borrow the free umbrellas at the hotel entrance.
Can I get a massage?
The Front Desk can help you book a massage.
Please understand that in-room massages are subject to availability, but the service is offered at the following times and rate:

If I fall ill during my stay, can the hotel provide cold medicine?
According to pharmaceutical regulations, the hotel cannot provide any medications.
We can instead advise you of nearby pharmacies and clinics.
Is it possible to receive a receipt?
We can print receipts. Please let the front desk know if you would like one and if you would like a company name instead of your name on the receipt.

Each floor of the hotel has 5 rooms, so our ability to meet this request will depend on occupancy conditions.
Do the rooms have windows?
Each room has a large shoji screen window area in the bathroom, but windows cannot be opened for security and safety reason.
Can I request a room on a high floor or with a good view?
We do accept requests, but please understand that our ability to meet your request will depend on occupany conditions. In addition our hotel is only 3 stories tall, about the same hight as the buildings around the hotel, so feel free to enjoy the good view from our rooftop garden instead.
Do you have any barrier free rooms? Do you lend out wheelchairs?
The main part of all the rooms are designed to be barrer free, however there is a step in the entrance of all the rooms. There is an elevator to all the rooms as well.
Unfortunately we do not have a wheelchair to lend out.
Do you provide room service?
We offer drink service while the restaurant is open, as well as in-room dining.
The hotel staff is happy to deliver borrowed items to your room and carry your luggage for you.
Is it possible to book the guest rooms for daytime use only?
Unfortunately we do not accept reservations for daytime use.
What time will the room be cleaned up by?
We clean the rooms by 3:00 PM.
I don't need my room cleaned, but can I have the amenities and towels exchanged?
Yes, please inform the Front Desk in advance.
Can you come to my room to pick up my luggage?
Yes, please feel free to ask this of the Front Desk.

Any additional bedding will be Japanese style futons, up to 3 for the suite room and 2 for all other rooms.
Dining
Does the room charge include breakfast?
If you select a plan which includes breakfast, the price of breakfast is included in your room charge.
It is also possible to add breakfast during your stay, however, this will be subject to availability.
Where can I eat breakfast?
Overnight guests of the hotel are welcome to enjoy breakfast at Niku Kappou Futago, or Shidashi style breakfast from Harise delivered to the room.
Can I eat lunch and dinner in the hotel as well?
The restaurant at the hotel, Niku Kappou Futago, serves a seasonal beef-centric course dinner. However, lunch is not served at the hotel. It is possible to order catering or delivery to your room. The hotel is able to provide extra lasts and cutlery like knives and forks. Please contact the Front Desk to have them delivered to your room.
How can I get ice?
The Front Desk will bring it to your room for you for free. Please call the Front Desk when you want it delivered.
Are there drinks in the mini-fridge?
We provide mini-bar (both alcohol and non-alchol drinks) in the fridge, all of which are no extra charge. Please note that there is no freezer in the standard rooms. There is freezer in the Bamboo Suite Room.
Is there a vending machine?
There is no vending machine inside the hotel, but there is a beverage vending machine in the immediate area outside the hotel.
What should I do if I have a food allergy or preference?
Please contact us as soon as possible so that we can make the proper preparations. Please understand that not all requests can be accommodated, especially on short notice.
Is there a children's menu?
Yes, for dinner it is \3,000 and for breakfast it is \1,500 including tax. You can add it to your plan when making a reservation. If you would like to add a children's meal to an existing reservation please do not hesitate to contact us.

On our official website you can make reservations up to 12 months in advance, or up to 6 months in advance on reservation websites.
We also offer special room plans on the official website and encourage you to take advantage of those plans by booking through our website.

Is it possible to make same-day reservations? Is there a waiting list for cancellations?
Same-day reservation availability will depend on occupancy conditions. We apologize that we do not offer a waiting list for cancellations.

I made a reservation via your homepage but haven't received my confirmation email.

Traveling with Children
Is there a different price for children?
There is no separate price for children.
We do not charge anything for co-sleeping children up to age 6. For children age 7 and older in a separate bed, we charge the same price as for an adult. We charge an additional 6,600 JPY for each optional futon for children age 6 and under.
We are pleased to offer children menu for dinner and breakfast at Y3000 and Y1500 respectively.
Do you have any amenities for children?
We lend out strollers, bed guards, baby bottle sterilizer and children's toothbrush for free.
However, there is a limited number so please request them in advance via email or phone call.
The Front Desk also has access to a microwave, so please contact the Front Desk in the case you would like something heated.
Can we co-sleep with children?
The beds are elevated, and can accommodate one co-sleeping child age 6 or under.
Do you have family rooms for four people to stay together?
Each room can accomodate 2 beds and 2 futons for adults in addition to any co-sleeping children. Please enjoy staying here with your family.
Payment
When is payment due?
We will request a cash or credit card payment upon check-in.
Can I pay with credit card?
We accept credit cards such as VISA, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, Diners, UC, NICOS, DC, JAL, TS3, VIEW, Express Card, Central, Isetan ICARD, MICARD, UnionPay, etc.
Is tax and service fees included in the price?
With the exception of the Kyoto City Hospitality Tax which must be paid in person during your stay, all other service fees and taxes are included in the price.
Do you accept cashless payments like Apple Pay?
We apologize, we do not accept cashless payments other than credit cards.
